Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale reliable backend systems using Python.

Responsibilities :

- Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python.

- Design reliable system architecture, databases, and asynchronous workflows.

- Improve application performance, security, and availability.

- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

- Review code and mentor junior engineers.

- Work closely with product, frontend, DevOps, and QA teams.

- Troubleshoot production issues and improve monitoring.

Required Qualifications :

- 5+ years of backend development experience.

- Strong Python experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, and database design.

- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

- Familiarity with Docker, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Understanding of authentication, security, testing, and system scalability.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems.

- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of system design and high-traffic production applications.
