Job Description

Requirements :

- Architect and scale core backend services across ERP domains (estimating, procurement, operations, inventory, financials).

- Design and lead AI-first systems : build agentic workflows where AI agents automate decision-making, planning, and task execution.

- Integrate and optimize AI pipelines : GPT reasoning, OCR, vision ML, and multimodal models for construction-specific automation.

- Ensure high performance, resilience, and scalability in distributed systems (APIs, messaging, data stores).

- Implement banking-grade security and compliance : auth, encryption, data protection, auditability.

- Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and establish engineering best practices.

- Collaborate with product and customer teams to deeply understand construction workflows and translate them into AI-driven architectures.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in high-scale, mission-critical systems.

- Expertise in at least one major backend language (Java/Kotlin, Go, Rust, TypeScript/Node, Python).

- Proven track record designing large-scale distributed architectures and APIs.

- Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration (LLMs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, multimodal models, agent frameworks).

- Deep understanding of security, authentication, and compliance (OAuth, JWT, SOC2 encryption at rest/in transit).

- Strong database design (SQL and NoSQL), caching, and event-driven architectures.

- Ability to own complex systems end-to-end : from design to deployment.

- Passion for AI-native product building, not just consuming models, but weaving them into robust agentic workflows.

Nice-to-Haves :

- Prior experience in ERP, fintech, or enterprise SaaS.

- Exposure to real-time systems, stream processing, and microservices orchestration.

- Background in voice agents, agent orchestration frameworks, or AI safety/security.

- Knowledge of infrastructure at scale : Kubernetes, observability (Datadog, OpenTelemetry), infra-as-code.
