Senior Architect Applied Research & Deep Learning
Location : Bengaluru (hybrid)
Experience : 10+ years (with 5+ years in applied mathematics, statistical modeling, and deep learning)
About the Role :
We are seeking a Senior Architect Applied Research & Deep Learning to lead the design and delivery of next-generation AI models and algorithms. This role sits at the intersection of mathematical modeling, deep learning, agentic AI, and enterprise architecture, driving innovation and solving complex real-world problems at scale.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own the end-to-end architecture of advanced AI systems from data integration and feature engineering to model training, inference, and monitoring.
- Design and deploy deep learning models (transformers, diffusion, state-space) for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Translate business challenges into mathematical and statistical models using linear algebra, optimization, causal inference, and probability theory.
- Optimize models for speed, scalability, and efficiency using pruning, quantization, distributed training, and GPU acceleration.
- Mentor AI engineers and data scientists, reviewing designs and promoting best practices in modeling and system design.
- Stay ahead of cutting-edge AI research and apply innovative techniques to business problems.
Qualifications :
- Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related quantitative discipline.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in applied mathematics, statistical modeling, and deep learning.
- Proven track record of architecting and deploying AI solutions in production environments.
- Strong expertise in Python (NumPy, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, etc.); additional experience in Scala/Kotlin/Rust is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of linear algebra, optimization, probability, causal inference.
- Experience with large datasets, distributed computing, and high-performance environments.
