Purpose of the Position :

Design, develop, and implement system and application software solutions on Linux OS (Ubuntu / CIP Linux) on Single Board Computers (SBCs), utilizing C / C++ and scripting languages. This role focuses on driving software innovation for cutting-edge medical devices.

Key Result Areas :

- Design and implement robust software architecture based on product requirement specifications.

- Design and develop application software deployed on Single Board Computers (such as Renesas SBCs) running Linux OS (Ubuntu / CIP Linux).

- Participate actively in code reviews and adhere strictly to standard engineering methodologies and Agile/Scrum processes.

- Troubleshoot any problems, defects and issues in the application software during development.

Major Responsibilities :

- Architecture & Design : Design and implement robust software architecture based on product requirement specifications.

- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code while incorporating good design practices.

- Design and develop application software deployed on Single Board Computers (such as Renesas SBCs) running Linux OS (Ubuntu / CIP Linux).

- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards.

- Participate actively in code reviews and adhere strictly to standard engineering methodologies and Agile/Scrum processes.

Requirement Profile :

Qualification :

- Bachelors / Masters degree in Computer Science / Information Science, or related engineering streams.

Experience :

- 3+ years of industry experience in concept to delivery of system software, preferably on Single Board Computers running on Linux OS.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes) :

Skills :

- Linux (Must), Ubuntu (highly desirable), Yocto / Poky Distributions (nice to have), C++ / C (desirable), LVGL/Wayland (desirable).

- Experience in Linux Development & Deployment Environment; Development & Deployment on SBCs such as Renesas RZ boards.

- Experience on C++, Linux (Ubuntu 20.04 LTS), Python / MicroPython.

- ARM MPU & MCU Programming, CAN Communication.

- RZV2L, DRP, DRP-AI, OpenCV, OpenCVAccelerator, OpenAMP.

- Any Renesas experience.

- 2+ years of relevant work experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).

- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.

- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
