Job Title : Android Developer

About the Role :

We are seeking a talented and motivated Android Developer with 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications that deliver a seamless and engaging user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST, JSON, etc.).

- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.

- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices (e.g., MVVM, MVP).

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 4 to 6 years of professional experience in Android application development.

- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.

- Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, Android Studio, and Gradle.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git, and third-party libraries.

- Understanding of Material Design guidelines and responsive UI development.

- Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.

- Familiarity with Firebase, Room, Retrofit, and other popular Android libraries.

- Good understanding of app lifecycle, memory management, and multi-threading.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

- Knowledge of architectural patterns like MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.

- Published at least one app on the Google Play Store.
