Location - Hyderabad, India

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join our custom design team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing high-performance analog IPs for next-generation FPGA products.


You will collaborate closely with architects, technology development teams, verification engineers, and software teams to deliver innovative, high-quality semiconductor solutions with industry-leading performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal IP blocks for FPGA products.

- Collaborate with architects and design leads to define circuit architectures and implement robust analog solutions.

- Perform transistor-level design and simulation across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) corners, including Monte Carlo analysis.

- Develop behavioral models for integration into top-level mixed-signal simulations.

- Optimize circuits for performance, power, area, and manufacturability.

- Support layout reviews and work closely with layout engineers to achieve first-pass silicon success.

- Perform post-silicon validation, characterization, debugging, and performance analysis at both block and system levels.

- Develop automation scripts to improve design efficiency and productivity.

- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of design methodologies and best practices.

- Document design specifications, simulation results, and validation reports.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design.

- Strong experience designing one or more of the following:

1. ADCs

2. DACs

3. Analog Filters

4. Bandgap References

5. Power-On Reset (POR) Circuits

6. High-Accuracy Comparators

7. Voltage Reference Circuits

8. Other precision analog building blocks

- Strong understanding of analog circuit theory, transistor-level design, and layout considerations.

- Extensive experience with Cadence analog design tools (Virtuoso, Spectre, ADE, etc.).

- Experience performing corner analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, and mixed-signal verification.

- Hands-on experience with post-silicon bring-up, characterization, and laboratory testing.

- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as SKILL, Python, Perl, or Tcl.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with system-level mixed-signal architecture and design.

- Knowledge of FPGA and SoC architectures.

- Familiarity with FPGA design flows such as Libero or similar development environments.

- Understanding of signal integrity and power integrity concepts.

- Exposure to board-level design fundamentals.

- Knowledge of Verilog and/or VHDL.
