ABOUT THE ROLE :

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be a technical anchor for our AI platform team shaping how we build, scale, and govern enterprise AI systems.

You will mentor engineers, make high-impact architectural decisions, drive AI engineering standards, and ensure our Agentic and GenAI systems are robust, observable, and secure in production.

This is a highly cross-functional role requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to influence without authority.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Define and evolve the AI engineering platform: shared LLM gateway, prompt registry, agent execution runtime, RAG infrastructure.

- Lead design and delivery of complex Agentic AI systems multi-agent orchestration, dynamic planning, stateful long-running workflows.

- Establish and enforce RAG quality standards: evaluation pipelines, chunking strategy guidelines, retrieval benchmarks.

- Own LLM integration strategy across vendors (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, open-source models); manage cost, latency, and reliability trade-offs.

- Drive prompt engineering maturity: versioned prompt libraries, A/B testing frameworks, automated regression testing.

- Architect scalable CI/CD and MLOps pipelines model evaluation gates, shadow deployment, rollback automation.

- Partner with Security and Data Governance teams to implement AI guardrails, PII handling, and compliance controls.

- Lead technical interviews, define hiring criteria, and scale the AI engineering team.

- Produce architectural decision records (ADRs), technical RFCs, and engineering runbooks.

- Represent the engineering team in cross-functional AI governance forums and executive reviews.
