Job Description: Security Firmware Validation Engineer.
Compensation: 25LPA to 30LPA.
Location: Bangalore.

Role Title: Security Firmware Validation Engineer.
Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years for firmware test engineer.
- 10+ years for firmware test manager.
- 12+ years for firmware test architect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform firmware validation for security firmware on NXP automotive platforms.
- Validate firmware functionality at:
1. Black Box level.
2. SoC level.
3. System / integration level.
- Execute validation on ARM based SoC / MPU / MCU architectures.
- Debug complex firmware and security related issues using hardware and software debug tools.
- Support validation of:
1. Secure boot-related firmware flows.
2. Low level embedded firmware functionality.
- Analyze failures, isolate root causes, and provide actionable debugging insights.
- Collaborate with firmware development and architecture teams during validation cycles.
Required Technical Skills:
Embedded & Firmware Validation:
- Strong experience in embedded firmware validation.
- Good understanding of embedded system design and behavior.
Architecture Knowledge:
- SoC / MPU / MCU architecture.
- ARM architecture (Automotive experience preferred).
- Exposure to NXP automotive SoCs (preferred).
Programming & OS:
- C, Python, Scripting Languages.
- RTOS experience.
Toolchains & IDEs:
- Green Hills (GHS).
- GNU Cross Compilers.
- NXP Design Studio / IDEs.
Debug & Validation Tools:
- Lauterbach.
- GDB.
- JTAG / Trace32.
- Strong hands on debugging capability.
Analysis Skills:
- Firmware debugging.
- Benchmarking and profiling.
- Failure analysis at firmware and system level.
