Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 5 - 12 full-stack and backend engineers.

- Run structured 1 : 1s, quarterly performance reviews, and career development conversations.

- Drive hiring for the India engineering org.

- Foster a culture of ownership, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with senior engineers and US architects on system design and technical direction.

- Make sound technology trade-off decisions across the MERN + PostgreSQL + AWS stack.

- Own and evolve the code review process and define engineering best practices.

- Establish sprint cadences, definition of done, and engineering SLAs.

Tech Stack :

- Frontend : React.js, React Native

- Backend : Node.js (Express), REST APIs

- Database : PostgreSQL

- Cloud & Infra : AWS (ECS, RDS, ALB, Cognito, S3, CloudWatch)

- Integrations : HL7 FHIR R4, Mirth Connect, Epic App Orchard, athenahealth

Qualifications :

- 8 - 13 years of total software engineering experience, with 4+ years managing or technically leading a team.

- Strong hands-on proficiency in Node.js and React.js.

- Deep experience with PostgreSQL.

- Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and technical design reviews.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
