We are seeking a highly skilled Scala Developer to join our engineering team in Bangalore, Pune, or Chennai. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance data processing pipelines and scalable microservices within a cloud-native environment.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and infrastructure engineers, to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of our data architecture, ensuring that our systems remain resilient, secure, and capable of handling massive datasets to drive critical business insights for our global clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop high-throughput data processing applications using Scala and Apache Spark to ensure optimal performance for large-scale data workloads.

- Design and deploy serverless functions using AWS Lambda to automate backend processes and enhance system responsiveness for end-users.

- Integrate various AWS services such as S3 for storage and KMS for encryption to maintain a secure and compliant cloud infrastructure.

- Write comprehensive Scala tests to ensure high code quality, reliability, and maintainability across all production deployments.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot complex technical bottlenecks, ensuring seamless integration and high availability of data services.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building distributed systems using Scala and Apache Spark, with a deep understanding of functional programming paradigms.

- Proven ability to design and manage cloud-native applications on AWS, specifically leveraging Lambda, S3, and KMS for secure and scalable architecture.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clear, executable technical specifications.

- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively within a collaborative, hybrid team environment.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 5 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Big Data engineering and cloud development.

- High adaptability to evolving project requirements and a proactive approach to learning new technologies within the AWS ecosystem.
