Roles & Responsibilities :

Firmware & Driver Development :

- Design, develop, and test low-level device drivers for hardware peripherals (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, PWM, ADC, DAC, and Timers).

- Develop robust, clean, and maintainable embedded firmware in C and C++ for various microcontroller (MCU) architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, ESP32, STM32, PIC).

- Integrate and configure Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX) for multi-threaded applications.

Platform Optimization & Android Integration :

- Contribute to the development, debugging, and customization of Android-based embedded systems.

- Optimize system performance, power consumption, and boot times on commercial application processors, specifically Qualcomm and MediaTek platforms.

- Collaborate with hardware and system architects to bring up new hardware and validate system stability.

Debugging & Testing :

- Troubleshoot complex hardware-software integration issues using JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.

- Write automated test scripts and simulation environments to validate firmware stability and performance.

Candidate Profile & Technical Skills :

Mandatory Requirements :

- Experience : 5+ years of dedicated experience in embedded software/firmware development.

- Languages : Strong, expert-level proficiency in C programming, with a solid working knowledge of C++.

- Peripherals : Proven track record of developing drivers for low-level hardware peripherals from scratch using datasheets and schematics.

- OS Environments : Deep understanding of RTOS concepts (task scheduling, semaphores, mutexes, memory management).

Preferred / Bonus Skills :

- Experience with Android system internals, HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer), or Android NDK/SDK.

- Hands-on experience with Qualcomm (Snapdragon/QCS) or MediaTek processor architectures.

- Familiarity with wireless protocols (BLE, Wi-Fi, Zigbee) and IoT security standards.
