In this role, you will lead board bring-up, driver development, Yocto distribution customization, and automotive communication protocol integration (CAN/CAN FD, Ethernet, SOME/IP). You will work closely with hardware teams and external automotive clients to deliver reliable, high-performance embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities :

BSP & Linux Kernel Development :

- Lead U-Boot bootloader customization, initial board bring-up, and BSP development for complex automotive SoCs.

- Develop, integrate, and debug the Linux kernel, writing precise Device Trees for custom platform integrations.

- Write and debug low-level Linux device drivers, including Ethernet, CAN / CAN FD, SPI, I2C, GPIO, DMA, and Interrupt controllers.

Yocto & Build System Management :

- Design, customize, and maintain Yocto-based Linux build environments and custom distributions.

- Create custom Yocto layers, recipes, and board configurations to produce lightweight, secure, and production-ready images.

Automotive Protocols & Multi-Core Systems :

- Integrate and test Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, and DoIP protocols.

- Support asymmetric multi-processing (AMP) and inter-processor communication using RPMsg, RemoteProc, and shared memory solutions.

Optimization, Debugging & Client Support :

- Deep knowledge of Linux kernel architecture, driver framework, memory management, and U-Boot porting.

- Proven experience with Yocto Project (BitBake, creating custom layers/recipes).

- Hands-on experience with hardware protocols (CAN/CAN FD, SPI, I2C, Ethernet) and automotive stack standards (SOME/IP, DoIP).

- Experience working with multi-core processors, IPC mechanisms (RPMsg, RemoteProc), and hardware abstractions.

- Proficiency with hardware debuggers (JTAG, Lauterbach), logic analyzers, and diagnostic tools (GDB, Valgrind, ftrace).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) :

- Familiarity with AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive) and hypervisor architectures (e.g., Xen, ACRN).
