SAP BW/ABAP Consultant

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BW development, ABAP programming, and SAP HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP BW solutions while supporting business intelligence and reporting requirements across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and support SAP BW solutions and data models

- Perform ABAP development for SAP BW objects, reports, enhancements, routines, and custom programs

- Design and implement SAP HANA-based solutions and optimize existing BW applications on HANA

- Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes

- Work on BW data modeling including InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, and Queries

- Collaborate with functional and business teams to gather reporting and analytics requirements

- Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues in BW and ABAP programs

- Support SAP system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and production deployments

- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices

- Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW development

- Mandatory expertise in ABAP programming

- Experience in SAP HANA implementation and optimization

- Knowledge of BW on HANA and HANA modeling concepts

- Experience with data extraction, transformation, and reporting

- Strong debugging and performance tuning skills in ABAP and BW

- Familiarity with SAP transport management and system landscapes

- Experience with SAP Query Designer/BEx tools or SAP BW Reporting tools
