Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, and dbt, along with practical experience in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Python scripting, and cloud-based data warehousing. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable data pipelines, transforming data from multiple sources, and ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

- Build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, transform, and load data from multiple structured and semi-structured data sources.

- Write complex SQL queries and optimize them to handle large datasets efficiently.

- Develop, test, and maintain reusable data transformation models using dbt.

- Implement incremental data loads, data transformations, and automated testing to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Monitor Snowflake performance, identify query bottlenecks, and implement optimization techniques.

- Use Python scripting to automate data processing, validation, and routine pipeline operations.

- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and resolve data integration and transformation issues.

- Collaborate with analytics, business, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.

- Follow data governance, security, and compliance practices while managing enterprise data.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering and SQL development.

- Strong expertise in Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, and performance optimization.

- Practical experience with dbt for data modeling, transformation, testing, and documentation.

- Experience developing and managing pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data processing.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT architectures.

- Experience with complex SQL queries, query optimization, and troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of data quality checks, data validation, and pipeline monitoring.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
