We are looking for a highly innovative and research-driven technology professional who can explore emerging technologies, build prototypes, and drive next-generation solutions.

As a Principal Technology Research Engineer, you will work at the intersection of research, engineering, and product innovation, helping shape future technology strategy and solving complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Generative AI, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, and Data Engineering

- Design and develop proof-of-concepts (POCs), prototypes, and experimental solutions to validate new ideas

- Translate research insights into scalable engineering solutions and product features

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders to identify innovation opportunities

- Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and platforms to improve system architecture and performance

- Publish technical findings, whitepapers, or internal knowledge assets

- Drive innovation initiatives, hackathons, and R&D programs within the organization

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams

- Contribute to architectural decisions for complex systems and next-gen platforms

- Stay updated with industry trends, academic research, and technology advancements

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6 to 9 years of experience in software engineering, research, or advanced technology roles

- Strong programming expertise in Python, Java, or C++

- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) or data-driven systems

- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Exposure to distributed systems, microservices architecture, and big data technologies

- Ability to build prototypes and experiment with new technologies quickly

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience reading and implementing research papers is a plus

Good to Have :

- Exposure to Generative AI / LLMs / NLP / Computer Vision

- Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and scaling AI systems

- Contributions to open-source projects or patents/publications

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

- Background in research-oriented roles, labs, or innovation teams
