RBC Tech - Senior Lead Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Full Stack Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-quality web applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise across front-end and back-end technologies, along with leadership capabilities to guide and mentor the development team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications

- Lead end-to-end development activities, from requirements to deployment

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical solutions

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices

- Mentor and guide junior developers and contribute to team growth

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance

- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and standards

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Expertise in front-end technologies (e.g., Vue.js or React.js or Angular)

- Strong experience with back-end technologies (e.g., Java )

- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

- Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)

- Strong experience with relational databases : PostgreSQL or MySQL

- Exposure to Redis or NoSQL database is a plus

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Strong understanding of software design patterns and system architecture

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and leadership abilities

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience leading teams or handling technical ownership of projects

- Exposure to DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)

- Agile/Scrum experience
