Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Architect with a strong foundation in Core Networking (Layer 2/3), secure site-to-site connectivity, and OT network architecture. The role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and governing secure, resilient, and scalable network architectures across industrial and manufacturing environments, while working closely with Product, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Enterprise IT, and technology partners.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and govern OT network architecture with strong focus on security, compliance, resilience, and business requirements.

- Design secure and scalable connectivity architectures for industrial and manufacturing environments.

- Develop and maintain reference architectures, standards, design frameworks, and technology guidelines for different OT network environments.

- Design network architectures covering Layer 2/Layer 3 connectivity, routing, segmentation, firewall policies, secure site-to-site connectivity, and remote access.

- Prepare and review HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, IP addressing schemes, routing designs, firewall policies, and architecture documentation.

- Design resilient network architectures across multi-site and multi-region environments, including redundancy, failover, high availability, and disaster recovery considerations.

- Lead and define Zero Trust security architectures for OT environments, including technologies such as ZPA/ZIA, Cisco Zero Trust Architecture, or equivalent solutions.

- Work closely with Cybersecurity teams to define architectures for IDS/IPS, Network Access Control (NAC), network monitoring, vulnerability management, segmentation, and secure remote access.

- Drive secure architecture for IT/OT convergence, coordinating with Enterprise IT Network teams to enable controlled and secure connectivity between environments.

- Evaluate network and security products from different OEMs/vendors and provide recommendations based on technical, operational, security, and commercial considerations.

- Lead architecture reviews with Product, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Enterprise Architecture, and infrastructure teams.

- Influence vendor selection, technology standards, reference architectures, and long-term network and security roadmaps.

- Assess existing network architectures and identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, standardization, and security enhancement.

- Ensure network solutions comply with organizational security policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

- Provide technical leadership during implementation and support resolution of complex architecture, connectivity, and security challenges.

- Collaborate with implementation, operations, and engineering teams to ensure architecture intent is maintained through deployment and production.

- Stay current with developments in OT security, Zero Trust, networking, industrial connectivity, and secure infrastructure architecture.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10 - 12 years of experience in Network Architecture, Network Security, Infrastructure Architecture, or a related domain.

- Strong expertise in Core Networking (Layer 2/Layer 3), including routing, switching, IP addressing, segmentation, and network design.

- Strong hands-on experience designing secure site-to-site connectivity and enterprise network architectures.

- Proven experience in OT/industrial network architecture, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.

- Strong understanding of network security architecture, firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, network monitoring, vulnerability management, and secure remote access.

- Strong experience preparing HLD/LLD, network diagrams, IP addressing schemes, routing policies, firewall policies, and architecture standards.

- Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and its application to OT environments.

- Experience designing multi-site, multi-region, highly available, redundant, and resilient network architectures.

- Good understanding of IT/OT convergence and secure connectivity between enterprise IT and industrial OT environments.

- Experience evaluating network/security technologies and working with OEMs, vendors, and technology partners.

- Strong architecture governance, technology assessment, and standards-definition capabilities.

- Experience working with Cybersecurity, Compliance, Enterprise IT, Product, and Infrastructure teams.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical communication skills.

- Ability to lead architecture discussions and influence technical decisions across cross-functional teams.

- Strong stakeholder management and vendor-management capabilities.
