Job Overview:

Quorum Software is looking for a Technical Consultant to join its Professional Services team. The role involves executing technical software upgrades across enterprise customer environments, maintaining customized code and databases, resolving technical issues, and deploying updated solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute end-to-end software upgrades across enterprise customers, from monthly patches to major version upgrades.

- Perform database upgrade packaging, custom database object remediation, and large-scale data conversion and management.

- Analyze existing code customizations and develop outdated custom features in the latest software versions.

- Deploy Azure DevOps pipelines and perform on-premise environment installations.

- Troubleshoot application, database, and code-related issues to ensure successful deployments.

- Maintain high standards of quality, documentation, and timely delivery across assigned tasks.

- Manage priorities across multiple concurrent customer upgrades and deliverables.

- Apply and improve technical expertise in SQL, NuGet, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and internal Quorum tools.

- Participate in team stand-ups and retrospectives to identify technical challenges and process improvements.

- Represent Quorum as a technical subject matter expert in client discussions and share product and technical knowledge with team members.

Required Skills :

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in software deployment or software development.

- Strong programming skills in C++, C#, or similar languages, including enhancements, code reviews, and bug resolution.

- Strong SQL and database skills, including complex functions and stored procedures, data conversion, and troubleshooting.

- Ability to take ownership of commitments and deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Skills :

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technology, or another analytical discipline.

- Experience working in an Agile development or deployment environment.

- Exposure to cloud solutions and complex integrations.

- Familiarity with TFS for accessing code developed in older versions.

- Ability to debug and troubleshoot application issues using Visual Studio.

- Exposure to the Oil & Gas domain.
