Job Description : QlikSense Developer / Team Lead

About the Role :

We are seeking two highly skilled and experienced QlikSense professionals to join our team. We are open to hiring at both a Senior Developer level and a Team Lead level, depending on the candidate's experience and leadership potential.

The ideal candidates will be experts in end-to-end QlikSense development, proficient in both on-premise and cloud environments, and possess strong SQL writing and data modeling skills.

Positions Available : 2 Resources (Developer or Team Lead)

Experience : 5+ years in QlikSense

Location : India (Work From Home/Remote Option Available)

Working Hours : India Standard Time (IST)

Key Responsibilities :

QlikSense Development & Data Modeling (Both Roles) :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, interactive, and visually compelling QlikSense applications, dashboards, and reports.

- Hands-on experience with QlikSense scripting, data modeling (including star schema, snowflake schema), set analysis, and expressions.

- Develop, maintain, and optimize robust ETL processes within QlikSense to load and transform data from diverse sources.

- Expertise in QlikSense on-premise architecture, administration, security, and performance tuning.

- Proficiently write complex and efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to prepare data for QlikSense applications.

- Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and effective BI solutions.

- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and performance optimization of QlikSense applications and data models.

Team Lead Responsibilities (For Team Lead Candidate) :

- Lead, mentor, and guide a small team of BI developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project deadlines.

- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for QlikSense projects, including architectural decisions, security design, and platform governance (On-prem and Cloud).

- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and communicate project status and risks to stakeholders.

- Drive innovation and promote the adoption of new Qlik features and cloud-native capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on, professional experience in QlikSense development and Business Intelligence.

- Mandatory hands-on experience in both QlikSense On-premise and Qlik Cloud environments.

- Strong SQL Writing Skills : Proven ability to write complex, optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Experience with various relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) is a plus.

- Exceptional understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and advanced data modeling techniques.

- Experience with Qlik Management Console (QMC) administration, security rules, and user access management.

- Familiarity with extensions, NPrinting, or other complementary Qlik technologies is an advantage.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written) for effective interaction with stakeholders, business users, and the development team.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

- Proactive attitude, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a commitment to quality.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is preferred.

- Work from Home (WFH) / Remote option available.

- Must be available to work during India Standard Time (IST) business hours.
