This role will be responsible for defining and driving the organizations quality engineering vision by establishing standardized testing frameworks, promoting automation-first strategies, and ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions across enterprise platforms.

Working closely with technology, product, and business stakeholders, this role will play a key part in enhancing API platform reliability, optimizing middleware ecosystems, and ensuring seamless digital experiences aligned with the organizations broader transformation agenda.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Leadership & Strategy :

- Lead the Testing CoE to deliver large-scale digital initiatives in collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Agile teams.

- Define and implement a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with organizational objectives.

- Establish governance frameworks, standards, and decision-making protocols for testing practices.

- Manage a core internal team while overseeing a larger extended/vendor workforce across roles such as Project Managers, Analysts, Engineers, and QA Leads.

2. Testing Excellence :

- Design and institutionalize standardized testing methodologies, processes, and toolsets across the enterprise.

- Drive automation-first practices to enhance coverage, efficiency, and defect prevention.

- Evaluate and manage testing tools, platforms, and infrastructure for enterprise-scale delivery.

- Define, monitor, and improve key quality metrics to ensure effective and efficient delivery.

- Ensure high-quality delivery of integration and middleware components aligned with architecture and engineering standards.

Competencies & Skills Required :

- 12-18 years of experience in IT, with strong exposure to testing leadership roles.

- Proven expertise in building secure, scalable, and high-performance integration and testing solutions.

- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and domain-driven systems (BFSI exposure preferred).

- Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage vendor ecosystems effectively.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivery excellence.
