Python Engineer - RESTful API

Hiring : Senior Python Engineer

Location : Remote

Experience : 3 - 7years

Mode : 6 months contract + extendable

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate on data modeling and database integrations-relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis)

- Apply test-driven development (pytest/unittest) to create high-quality, maintainable code.

- Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for building, deploying, and scaling services.

- Use version control (Git) to manage code, participate in code reviews, and follow CI/CD pipelines.

- Hire IT People

- Write clean, modular, and reusable code, adhering to software engineering best practices.

- Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize services, and ensure observability and uptime.

- Engage in sprint planning, architecture reviews, and cross-team collaboration.

- Stay abreast of new technologies, frameworks, and industry trends in Python, APIs, testing, and cloud.

Required Technical Skills :

- API Design & Development - built and consumed RESTful services, familiarity with frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.

- TDD Frameworks - hands-on experience with Pytest or Unittest for reliable unit/integration testing.

- Database Systems - proficient in relational (Postgres/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).

- Cloud Platforms - deployed applications on AWS, GCP, or Azure; experience with services like EC2, RDS, Lambda, etc.

- Version Control - proficient in Git workflows for feature branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
