About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Python Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in backend development and a proven ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. This role demands hands-on expertise in Python, Django, and REST API development, along with a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, design and implement backend architectures, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our core systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

- Build and manage RESTful APIs that ensure seamless data exchange between systems and applications.

- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.

- Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one unified system.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Contribute to the design and architecture discussions, providing innovative ideas for system improvement.

- Implement and maintain effective testing strategies to ensure code reliability and scalability.

- Continuously research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies for process and product enhancement.

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in backend development using Python.

- Strong command over Python programming, data structures, and OOP concepts.

- Proven experience with Django and/or Flask frameworks for web application development.

- Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.

- Proficiency in data integration across multiple sources and systems.

- Experience with popular Python libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies.

Good-to-Have / Preferred Skills :

- Experience working with DataFrames (pandas, polars, or PySpark).

- Understanding of SQL databases and basic database optimization principles.

- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) will be a plus.

- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
