Publicis Sapient - Full Stack Engineer - React.js/Java

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in building scalable, high-performance applications. This role is React-heavy on the frontend but requires a robust foundation in Java and Spring Boot for backend services. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end features, ensuring seamless integration between the UI and server-side logic.

Key Responsibilities :

- Frontend Excellence : Lead the development of complex, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces using React.js.

- Backend Architecture : Design and maintain scalable microservices using Java 8/11+ and the Spring Boot framework.

- API Development : Build and consume RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous processes using Node.js.

- Full-Stack Ownership : Take end-to-end ownership of features, from database schema design to frontend implementation and deployment.

- Code Quality : Conduct thorough code reviews, write unit/integration tests (Junit, Mockito, Jest), and mentor junior developers.

- Cloud Integration : Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy and manage applications within the Azure cloud environment.

Required Technical Skills :

- Frontend : Expert-level knowledge of React.js, Redux/Context API, Hooks, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind/Material UI).

- Backend : Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data).

- Middleware/Runtime : Experience with Node.js for building fast and scalable network applications.

- Database : Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB/CosmosDB).

- Version Control : Advanced knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred / "Good to Have" Skills :

- Scripting : Proficiency in Python for automation or data processing tasks.

- Cloud : Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, SQL Database).

- Tools : Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.

- Proven track record of delivering "React-heavy" enterprise applications.

- Mandatory : Clear understanding of the difference between Java and JavaScript, with production experience in both.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
