Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Software Technical Consultant with expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Deployment Automation to design, automate, and manage enterprise software deployments on public cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud-native architectures, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

- Develop and maintain deployment automation frameworks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and release management.

- Automate provisioning, configuration management, and infrastructure lifecycle management.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure applications are cloud-ready and follow cloud-native best practices.

- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to improve platform reliability.

- Support containerized application deployments using Kubernetes and related orchestration technologies.

- Design and maintain load balancing, networking, and identity management solutions for cloud environments.

- Create technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials for operations and support teams.

- Partner with Product Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Operations, and Architecture teams to enhance cloud capabilities and deployment standards.

- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to deployment automation and operational efficiency.

Required Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with one or more public cloud platforms:

1. Amazon Web Services (AWS)

2. Microsoft Azure

- Good understanding of cloud networking, security, scalability, and high availability.

- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as:

1. Terraform (Preferred)

2. Ansible

3. Chef

4. Puppet

5. SaltStack

- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.

- Strong experience with:

1. Kubernetes

2. Docker

- Knowledge of container orchestration, scaling, and deployment strategies.

- Proficiency in one or more programming languages:

1. Python

2. Java

3. C#

4. Ruby

- Good Linux administration and shell scripting skills.

- Experience with:

1. AWS Lambda or other serverless technologies

2. Identity and Access Management (IAM)

3. Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions such as PingFederate (preferred), Azure AD, or Okta.

- Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as:

1. Dynatrace (Preferred)

2. Datadog

3. Zabbix

4. Prometheus

5. Grafana

- Experience with centralized logging and application monitoring.

- Hands-on experience with:

1. AWS Application Load Balancer (ALB) / Elastic Load Balancer (ELB)

2. Azure Application Gateway

3. NGINX

4. HAProxy
