Job Description :
We are looking for a Storage Product Validation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in storage protocols, system-level validation, firmware debugging, and automation. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical and debugging skills with strong programming capabilities in Python and C.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform storage product validation across different hardware and software configurations.
- Validate and debug USB, PCIe, NVMe, and SCSI protocols.
- Analyze protocol behavior, failures, and performance issues using Teledyne LeCroy Protocol Analyzers.
- Perform PCAP/trace analysis and protocol-level debugging to identify root causes.
- Debug storage firmware and understand key SSD concepts including FTL, Wear Leveling, Garbage Collection, and related mechanisms.
- Use JTAG, telemetry, firmware logs, and system debug logs for failure analysis and root-cause identification.
- Develop and maintain validation scripts and automation using Python.
- Use C programming for debugging, test development, and understanding low-level system/firmware behavior.
- Collaborate with firmware, hardware, and software teams to reproduce, isolate, and resolve complex storage issues.
- Document test results, failures, debug findings, and validation reports.
