Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Payments Product Owner to drive strategic payments transformation initiatives for global banking clients. The role requires strong expertise in Virtual Account Management (VAM), Payments, ISO 20022, and SWIFT, along with proven experience in product ownership, banking transformation, and Agile delivery.

The ideal candidate will work closely with business, operations, and technology teams to define product vision, manage delivery roadmaps, and support payment modernization initiatives across transaction banking and cash management domains.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and manage the product roadmap for Payments and Virtual Account Management solutions.

- Lead transformation initiatives across :

a. Virtual Account Management (VAM)

b. Payments Modernization

c. ISO 20022 Migration

d. SWIFT MT/MX Messaging

- Cross-border and Transaction Banking Payments

- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

- Create and manage Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, BRDs, and FRDs.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver scalable payment solutions.

- Prioritize and manage product backlog aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and release management.

- Drive stakeholder engagement, governance reporting, and executive communication.

- Support UAT, implementation, and production rollout activities.

- Ensure alignment with banking regulations, payment standards, and operational controls.

Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

Required Qualification : Bachelor of Engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech.)
