Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, roadmap, and feature priorities.
- Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, and detailed acceptance criteria.
- Conduct user interviews and research sessions with operators, customers, and domain experts to gather product insights.
- Analyze requirements, identify gaps, ambiguities, dependencies, and edge cases before development begins.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with engineering and design teams.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release planning activities.
- Ensure product requirements are development-ready and aligned with business objectives.
- Create and maintain product specifications, workflows, release notes, and other product documentation.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate delivered functionality against business requirements.
- Develop a strong understanding of the space domain, including orbital mechanics, satellite tracking, conjunction analysis, and sensor networks.
- Work closely with engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- 46 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Product Owner roles.
- Proven experience managing software products through the complete product lifecycle.
- Strong expertise in writing product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
- Ability to work with evolving requirements and multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
- Strong technical aptitude and interest in complex engineering products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Notion, or similar product management tools.
- Experience working closely with software engineering and UX teams.
- Background in aerospace, defense, geospatial, engineering, or deep-tech products is highly preferred.
- Exposure to mission-critical or enterprise software products.
- Experience with release planning, UAT, and product analytics is a plus.
