Principal Engineer Lead

Experience : 12+ Years

Work Model : Hybrid (3 Days Work from Office, 2 Days Work from Home)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer Lead to drive technical excellence across our engineering teams. This role demands strong hands-on expertise along with architectural leadership, mentoring capabilities, and the ability to define and enforce engineering standards across complex, cloud-native systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and evolution of scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures

- Act as a technical authority across teams, guiding architectural decisions and technology choices

- Design, develop, and review enterprise-grade applications using C# and .NET

- Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions using REST APIs

- Drive cloud-native design principles and ensure cloud adoption best practices are followed

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals

- Establish, document, and enforce engineering standards, best practices, and coding guidelines

- Mentor and coach senior and junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence

- Review designs, code, and deployments to ensure quality, performance, and security

- Support production systems and guide teams in troubleshooting complex technical issues

Technical Skills (Mandatory) :

- Strong expertise in C# and .NET (Core/Latest versions)

- Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs

- Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems

- Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Cloud mandate

- Strong database experience with SQL Server

- Experience working with PostgreSQL (Postgres)

- Solid understanding of scalability, performance tuning, and security best practices

Technical Skills (Good to Have) :

- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Functional & Leadership Skills :

- Strong architectural leadership and decision-making capability

- Proven experience in mentoring and coaching engineers

- Ability to define, enforce, and govern engineering standards

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
