Principal Engineer - Java/Python

Description :

We are looking for a Principal Engineer to design and implement solutions for our core product and

to drive complex backend technical initiatives that elevate our overall engineering excellence. This

is a senior leadership role that blends deep technical ownership with team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect scalable modules and end-to-end solutions for our product platform.

- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation and achieve product goals.

- Design robust database model schemas aligned with business and technical requirements.

- Implement high-quality REST APIs and backend services using Spring Boot.

- Develop AI/ML-based solutions to enhance product capabilities as needed.

- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team through regular meetings, performance evaluations, and development opportunities.

- Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

- Ensure design decisions and execution are aligned with project objectives and timelines.

- Proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.

- Conduct regular, constructive code reviews to uphold quality standards.

- Thrive and adapt in a fast-paced enterprise product environment.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on technical experience.

- 8+ years of programming experience with Java and SQL.

- Strong skills in database model design and query optimization.

- Working knowledge of basic networking concepts and protocols.

- Practical experience with Shell or Python scripting and Docker.

- Broad technical depth across a variety of technologies and system architectures.

- Exposure to AI/ML frameworks and tooling is a strong plus.

- Proactive mindset for identifying problems and optimizing system performance.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills.
