Job Role : Principal Embedded Software Engineer Automotive Networking.

Experience : 7+ Years.

Location : Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture and development of automotive embedded software and vehicle networking systems.

- Design scalable, low-latency communication solutions across embedded and vehicle platforms.

- Develop and optimize high-performance, multi-threaded software using C/C++.

- Work across Linux and QNX environments, including system-level debugging and performance optimization.

- Design and integrate communication using TCP, UDP, gRPC, RTP, HTTP, CAN, LIN, and FlexRay.

- Work with automotive RTOS and software platforms including AUTOSAR, OSEK, and FreeRTOS.

- Support integration of sensors and embedded devices into high-performance data pipelines.

- Lead hardware bring-up, system integration, performance profiling, and root-cause analysis.

- Define approaches for diagnostics, self-test, health monitoring, and communication error handling.

- Establish engineering standards for architecture, coding, testing, performance, and system reliability.

- Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership across software, hardware, and systems teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 7+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development and System Architecture.

- Expert-level programming experience in C/C++.

- Strong experience with Linux and/or QNX.

- Hands-on experience with automotive communication and networking protocols : TCP, UDP, gRPC, RTP, HTTP, CAN, LIN, and FlexRay.

- Strong understanding of embedded communication interfaces including I2C and SPI.

- Experience with AUTOSAR, OSEK, or FreeRTOS.

- Strong system-debugging skills across application, OS, driver, and hardware layers.

- Experience with hardware bring-up, system integration, and performance profiling.

- Proven experience leading complex technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
