About the Opportunity :

We are building an AI-native operating system for the real asset industry, reimagining how capital raising, land acquisition, development, procurement, and leasing are executed through agentic AI, intelligent workflows, and modern enterprise architecture.

Rather than retrofitting AI into legacy software, we are designing the platform from first principles to transform how work gets done. Built alongside a live real estate investment platform with deep industry expertise and real-world use cases, the product is intended to evolve into a category-defining enterprise SaaS platform for the global real asset ecosystem.

The Role :

We are looking for a senior technical leader who will own the technology vision end-to-end and grow into a CTO role as the organization scales.

You will define the technical direction, own architecture and engineering standards, build and mentor engineering teams, and work closely with the leadership team to develop a world-class AI-native enterprise platform.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and own the overall platform architecture, security posture, and engineering standards.

- Design and build scalable AI-native enterprise applications using modern LLM technologies.

- Develop robust AI workflows, evaluation frameworks, and data architectures as long-term strategic assets.

- Lead and grow the engineering organization while establishing a high-performance engineering culture.

- Transition core engineering capabilities from external partners to an in-house team.

- Ensure the platform is designed as a scalable multi-tenant SaaS product.

- Partner with business leadership on product strategy, technology roadmap, and future platform expansion.

- Drive technical excellence across system design, cloud infrastructure, AI architecture, security, and engineering best practices.

What We're Looking For :

- 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong architecture ownership.

- Experience building and scaling production-grade AI applications.

- Deep understanding of LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI orchestration frameworks.

- Strong experience in distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, APIs, and microservices.

- Expertise in Python and modern backend technologies.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring senior engineers.

- Strong product engineering mindset with the ability to balance speed, scalability, and quality.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior business stakeholders.

Preferred Experience :

- Founding Engineer, Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, Head of Engineering, or CTO experience.

- Experience in building products from 0 to 1 or scaling products through rapid growth.

- Startup or high-growth SaaS company experience.

- Exposure to PropTech, FinTech, Enterprise SaaS, Data Platforms, or AI-first products.

- Experience building multi-tenant enterprise platforms.
