Full-Stack Engineer - Next.js + Python

Prestige Trucking Insurance is a US commercial trucking insurance agency, hiring in India. We've built Insure Stack: an agent uploads an intake form and it quotes major trucking carriers in seconds. The product is live and growing fast - and so is our backlog. We're hiring an early, high-ownership engineer to help us ship across the whole stack and clear it.

The role :

You'll work end to end - Next.js / React / TypeScript on the front, Python (FastAPI / Django) on the back - closing issues, shipping features, and fixing bugs across both. This is a builder's seat on a small team: you'll own what you ship, see it in production quickly, and have real influence over how we work. If you like breadth, fast iteration, and clearing a backlog that actually matters to the business, this is that role.

What you'll do :

- Ship features and fixes across the frontend (Next.js / React / TypeScript) and backend (Python / FastAPI)

- Work through a real, growing backlog - bugs, improvements, and new functionality

- Build and consume REST APIs; work with PostgreSQL

- Improve performance and reliability of what's already live

- Move fast without breaking what works - you own quality on what you ship

- Work directly with a small, senior team (no bureaucracy, quick decisions)

What we need :

- 4+ years building production web applications, full-stack

- Strong React and Next.js with TypeScript

- Solid Python backend experience (FastAPI, Django, or Flask) - real API and service work

- Comfortable across the stack: frontend, backend, database, deployment

- A bias for shipping - you close things, and you close them well

- You've owned features end to end on a small team

- Clear communication; the team is distributed

Strong pluses :

GCP (Cloud Run, GCS) or other cloud experience; keeping a live product healthy while shipping quickly; insurance, fintech, or logistics domain.

Working hours :

Starting hours are 9:00 AM EST for the first 90 days while you get situated. After that, there may be room to revisit the schedule.
