Role Overview :

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager / Senior Technical Product Manager (TPM / Sr. TPM) to own core, platform-level architectures and enterprise product verticals at Practo.

This is not a traditional business PM role. You will operate at the precise intersection of product strategy, system design, and software architecture. Partnering as a peer with Engineering Leads and Architects, you will actively define API contracts, data models, integration topologies, and long-term technical roadmaps. You will serve as the definitive bridge translating high-stakes enterprise customer requirements into scalable, bulletproof technical specifications for our B2B ecosystems and mobile endpoints.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical Architecture & Product Delivery :

- Platform Lifecycle Management : Drive the end-to-end strategy, specification, and execution for core technical products, including robust APIs, developer SDKs, webhooks, and backend microservices powering our enterprise applications.

- Rigorous Specifications : Write flawless, detailed technical PRDs and functional specs encompassing API contracts, JSON data schemas, system sequence diagrams, error-handling states, and edge-case protocols.

- System Design Partnership : Embed with engineering architects during system design reviews; actively participate in sprint planning, architectural spikes, and technical trade-off decisions.

- Data & Analytics Infrastructure : Collaborate with data engineering teams to define event tracking schemas, telemetry structures, and data pipeline architectures that feed mission-critical enterprise analytics dashboards.

2. Enterprise Integrations & Mobile Ecosystem :

- Integration Ecosystems : Architect the connectivity roadmap for critical third-party healthcare systems, including EMRs, LIS/RIS, insurance clearinghouses, payment gateways, and unified communication platforms.

- Enterprise Features : Translate complex enterprise compliance needs (multi-tenancy isolation, SSO/SAML federated identity, RBAC, immutable audit logs, and strict SLA guarantees) into scalable product frameworks.

- Technical Discovery : Act as the technical face of Practo during discovery workshops with enterprise clients, mapping their legacy IT landscapes, integration constraints, and deployment needs.

- B2B Mobile Experience : Manage the technical performance of our iOS and Android mobile app infrastructure tailored for doctors and hospital administrators, prioritizing offline synchronization capabilities, data caching, and tight security compliance.

3. Governance & Engineering Excellence :

- API Governance : Define and institutionalize API versioning strategies, deprecation lifecycles, and world-class developer documentation portals.

- Technical Health Monitoring : Establish, track, and optimize technical KPIs : API latency percentiles ($p95/p99$), uptime SLAs, synchronization success rates, mobile crash rates, and data freshness metrics.

- Mentorship (For Senior TPM level) : Coach and upskill junior product managers on technical product frameworks, systems thinking, and data-driven execution.

What We Are Looking For :

Experience : 3 to 6 years of software product management experience. A strong technical foundationsuch as a prior background as a Software Engineer (SDE), SDET, or Systems Architectis highly preferred.

Domain Expertise : Proven track record of shipping or managing API-first platform products, developer tooling, or integration-heavy systems in a B2B, SaaS, or enterprise environment.
