Power BI Lead

Description :

- The role involves designing, developing, and architecting scalable BI solutions using Power BI and Microsofts data ecosystem.

- The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical depth, a strong understanding of data modeling and visualization best practices, and the ability to lead teams and engage with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights

Design & Architecture :

- Define best practices for data modelling, DAX, Power Query (M), and report optimization.

- Implement governance, security models (RLS/OLS), and workspace management.

Development & Delivery :

- Work with data engineering teams to design semantic models and reusable datasets.

- Ensure scalability, performance, and usability of BI solutions.

Integration & Platforms :

- Work on deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and automation for Power BI.

Leadership & Collaboration :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and leadership teams to gather requirements and translate into BI solutions.

Innovation & Growth :

- Contribute to pre-sales, proposals, and client workshops as a BI subject matter expert.

Additional Skills :

- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Power BI (dashboarding, DAX, M/Power Query).

- Expertise in data modeling (star schema, snowflake, dimensional modeling).

- Experience with large dataset optimization and performance tuning.

- Strong exposure to Azure Data ecosystem (Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, Fabric).

- Knowledge of SQL Server, relational databases, and ETL workflows.

- Experience in governing enterprise-scale BI implementations.

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills (CXO level interactions).

- Proven experience in leading teams and managing BI projects.
