Power BI Developer - SQL/Power Query M

We are looking for a highly skilled Power BI Developer with 45 years of hands-on experience in building interactive dashboards, reports, and data models. The ideal candidate should be passionate about data visualization, have strong problem-solving skills, and be detail-oriented. You will be working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, transform raw data into actionable insights, and deliver impactful BI solutions that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business needs.

- Write and optimize DAX expressions to create measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.

- Perform advanced data transformations using Power Query (M) for preparing clean, reliable datasets.

- Connect, import, and integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, Excel, and flat files.

- Implement basic data modeling techniques to support efficient report performance.

- Ensure adherence to data visualization best practices, ensuring clarity, usability, and storytelling in dashboards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into BI solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and report functionality.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 45 years of professional experience in Power BI development.

- Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).

- Hands-on experience with SQL databases and other data sources (Excel, flat files).

- Solid understanding of data modeling, relationships, and transformations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate) or other BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView/Qlik Sense.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in sprint-based development cycles.

- Basic understanding of ETL tools, data pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.

- Ability to optimize dashboards for performance and scalability.
