Power BI Developer - SQL/ETL

Position : BI Developer.

Exp : 7 years.

Location : Gurugram Cybercity.

Duration : 6 months.

We are seeking a skilled Report Writer/SQL Developer to join our Analytics team. This role is pivotal in transforming complex data into clear, actionable reports and dashboards that support business decision making.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to develop scalable and accurate reporting solutions.

What will you do?

- Build and maintain robust reports and dashboards using tools such as Dundas BI, Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos.

- Translate business requirements into efficient and scalable reporting solutions.

- Develop and maintain data models (star/snowflake schema) to support reporting needs.

- Ensure high data quality and consistency across environments through validation and quality checks.

- Support ad hoc data requests and report development for stakeholders.

- Document report specifications, data sources, logic, and workflows.

- Participate in data governance and contribute to standardization and best practices.

- Collaborate in Agile development environments with cross-functional teams.

What We are looking for :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience as a Report Writer, BI Developer, or SQL Developer.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS).

- Experience developing and maintaining reports using BI tools such as Dundas BI, Power BI, Tableau, or Cognos.

- Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and relational database design.

- Familiarity with ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
