Position : Sr BI Engineer/ BI Engineer

Shift Timings : 2 : 00PM IST to 11 : 00PM IST

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports for Finance (Phase 1), followed by Sales and Operations (Phase 2).

- Build and maintain governed semantic models to ensure consistent KPIs, metrics, and calculations across reports.

- Translate business requirements into intuitive, insights-driven visualizations with drill-down and trend analysis.

- Optimize Power BI report performance, data models, and DAX calculations.

- Validate reports against source and Gold-layer data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and trust.

- Enable secure sharing, publishing, and access control using role-based access (RBAC).

- Reduce dependency on manual and spreadsheet-based reporting through standardized analytics solutions.

- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to align on data availability, model design, and refresh strategies.

- Participate in sprint demos, stakeholder reviews, and iterative enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (reports, dashboards, semantic models).

- Solid understanding of data modeling, star schemas, and KPI standardization.

- Experience working with enterprise-scale datasets and curated data marts.

- Knowledge of DAX, performance tuning, and visualization best practices.

- Experience working in Agile analytics delivery environments.

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to Finance, Sales, or Operations analytics (P&L, revenue, margin, logistics, inventory).

- Familiarity with semantic governance, metadata, and business definitions.

- Awareness of AI-ready analytics and conversational BI concepts.
