Job Description :

Power BI Developer will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in a specific project or domain. They provide technical direction, oversee project execution, and ensure that deliverables are met within defined timelines and quality standards.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of Power BI and reporting engineers to deliver high-quality dashboards, datasets, and reporting solutions.

- Provide technical direction across Power BI (DAX, M Query, Paginated Reports), SQL, Git, SSIS/SSRS/SSAS, and Azure DevOps.

- Design, build, and optimize reporting architectures, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, UX designers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective BI solutions.

- Drive process improvements, troubleshoot technical challenges, and implement best practices across development workflows.

- Ensure timely delivery with strong ownership, decision-making, and adherence to quality assurance and testing standards.

- Maintain, enhance, and deploy BI systems, tools, and operational processes while ensuring continuous innovation and system upgrades.

Skills Required :

- Expertise on Git, SQL, Power BI (Report development or DAX, Paginated report, Dataset or IDM or M Query), SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps.

- Understanding of tools such as Logic apps, UI/UX tools and their functionality.

- Knowledge on Azure Fundamentals and Azure Function App Services.

- Researching, designing, implementing, and managing reports and dashboards.

- Unit testing and evaluating new programs.

- Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications.

- Team leading experience is essential.

- Ownership of individual and team tasks delivery.

- Decision making skillset is essential.

- Writing and implementing efficient code.

- Determining operational practicality.

- Developing quality assurance procedures.

- Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics.

- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems.

- Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts.

Education Levels/Credentials :
Engineering Graduate (IT, Computer science, Electrical)
