Power BI Developer

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.

- Build DAX measures and calculated columns for data analysis and KPIs.

- Utilize Power Query (M Language) to clean, transform, and prepare data for reporting.

- Develop and maintain data models with proper relationships, hierarchies, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Integrate and connect data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, REST APIs, and cloud services.

- Configure and manage On-premises Data Gateways for data refresh and troubleshooting.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.

- Work with Power Automate to create workflows for automated notifications, alerts, and report distribution.

Technical Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

- Proficiency in DAX for calculated measures and KPIs.

- Solid understanding of data modeling principles (relationships, normalization, star schema).

- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and transforming data.

- Experience using Power Query / M language.

- Familiarity with On-premises Data Gateway setup and management.

- Knowledge of Power Automate and its integration with Power BI.
