Power BI Developer

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

- Integrate Power BI with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud for data sourcing and model deployment

- Develop and manage data models, DAX queries, and Power Query transformations

- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand KPIs and reporting needs

- Optimize data sources and reports for performance and scalability

- Implement row-level security, role-based access, and data governance best practices

- Ensure accurate documentation of solutions, architecture, and business rules

Required Skills :

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP also acceptable)

- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling techniques

- Experience in integrating Power BI with cloud-based data sources (e.g., Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Lake, S3, etc.)

- Strong understanding of ETL workflows, data warehousing concepts, and SQL

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, or Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)

- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and version control for Power BI artifacts

- Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and security standards
