Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer with hands-on experience in industrial automation, SCADA development, PLC integration, and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting SCADA-based solutions for industrial control systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop SCADA applications, control logic, and HMI interfaces.

- Prepare functional design specifications, control narratives, and control schematics.

- Integrate SCADA systems with PLCs, DCS/DDC controllers, routers, gateways, and field devices.

- Develop hardware and software design documents, test procedures, and technical documentation.

- Support panel design, instrumentation design, and preparation of engineering drawings.

- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, system modifications, and performance optimization.

- Execute FAT, SAT, site testing, commissioning, and user acceptance activities.

- Provide remote and onsite technical support for operational systems.

- Conduct system training and prepare O&M documentation.

- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and customer requirements.

- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and project teams to drive successful project execution.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation, or Computer

Engineering.

- 3- 8 years of experience in SCADA, industrial automation, or control systems engineering.

- Strong understanding of industrial control systems architecture, HMI, PLC, and data acquisition systems.

- Experience with SCADA platforms such as Siemens WinCC, Wonderware InTouch, iFIX, ClearSCADA, CitectSCADA, Ignition, or similar.

- Hands-on experience with PLCs including Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Omron, Mitsubishi, GE Fanuc, or equivalent.

- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Modbus TCP, Profibus, OPC, DNP3, and Ethernet/IP.

- Experience in software development using C, C++, C#, SQL, or PL/SQL is preferred.

- Strong commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer interaction skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environments and MS Office applications.

Preferred Skills :

- SCADA communication architecture and protocol expertise.

- Understanding of RTUs, data concentrators, and field instrumentation.

- Industrial networking and cybersecurity awareness.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Certifications (Preferred) :

- SCADA/Industrial Automation Certifications

- CCNA / CCNP

- Industrial Cybersecurity Certifications (e.g., CISSP or equivalent)
