Piramal Enterprises - Power BI Engineer - SQL/ETL

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Engineer who can transform data into meaningful insights and interactive dashboards that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Power BI development, data modelling, DAX, and end-to-end dashboard deployment.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.

- Develop and optimize data models, DAX queries, and calculations for performance and scalability.

- Integrate data from various sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc. ) into Power BI.

- Implement row-level security, data refresh schedules, and workspace management.

- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and visual storytelling standards in dashboards.

- Support business stakeholders with actionable insights and self-service BI solutions.

- Troubleshoot issues related to report performance, data refresh, and access.

- Stay updated with the latest Power BI and data analytics best practices.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

- 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.

- Strong expertise in : Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, DAX and Power Query (M Language), Data modelling and performance optimization.

- Experience working with SQL databases and writing medium to complex queries.

- Familiarity with ETL concepts and data warehousing.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
