Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with strong expertise in the Laravel framework to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of backend development, REST APIs, database optimization, and modern PHP practices.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and well-structured solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using Laravel and modern PHP.

- Build reusable, clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

- Create RESTful APIs and microservices for internal and external integrations.

- Participate in application architecture, design decisions, and system flow.

- Work with product owners to translate requirements into technical implementations.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

- Design, manage, and optimize relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).

- Write complex queries, stored procedures, and perform database tuning.

- Implement caching strategies using Redis, Memcached, etc.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.

- Ensure secure coding standards and compliance with OWASP best practices.

- Work closely with front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams.

- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews for junior developers.

- Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to development processes.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.

- Strong expertise in Laravel ecosystem (Eloquent ORM, Blade templates, queues, events, middleware, etc.

- Solid experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.

- Proficiency with MySQL/PostgreSQL including indexing, clustering, and optimization.

- Experience with Composer, Git, and CI/CD tools.

- Knowledge of Linux environments, Apache/Nginx configurations.

- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Pest)
