Perl Developer - PostgreSQL

About the Role (Short Summary) :

We are hiring PERL Developers in the Payments Domain with strong expertise in PERL, PostgreSQL/Oracle, DevOps (GitHub, Jenkins), and Linux.

The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems, contributing to scalable payment solutions, and working with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Participate in or lead (based on level) technical discussions, architecture, and solution design.

- Work with PERL, PostgreSQL/Oracle, Linux, and DevOps pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins).

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems.

- Review code, ensure quality standards, and follow agile processes.

- Mentor/guide junior engineers (Senior & Lead roles).

- Lead teams and drive delivery (Lead role).

Skills & Experience Required :

- PostgreSQL or Oracle DB design, DDL, DML.

- Exposure to C programming is a plus.

- Experience with DevOps tools GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD.

- Linux OS, scripting, troubleshooting.

- Awareness of cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

- Good communication & ability to work with distributed/global teams.
