Role Overview :

As a Data Engineer - Enterprise Content Management at Pauls Techno Crafts, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing data migration strategies for our clients. You will collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts, and other technical teams to ensure seamless and efficient migration of content to and from OpenText platforms. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining data integrity, optimizing system performance, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients' digital transformation journeys, enabling them to leverage their content effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement data migration strategies for Enterprise Content Management systems, focusing on OpenText platforms, to ensure minimal disruption and data integrity.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into OpenText Archive Server and other ECM repositories, supporting efficient data management.

- Configure and manage OpenText Enterprise Scan solutions, optimizing document capture and indexing processes for improved content accessibility and searchability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data migration and integration projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during migration and implementation phases, maintaining system stability and data accuracy.

- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes within the OpenText environment, enhancing system performance and scalability.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data migration processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures, facilitating knowledge sharing and future maintenance.

- Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information during migration and storage, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve data management and migration processes, staying abreast of industry best practices.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing data migration strategies for Enterprise Content Management systems, particularly OpenText.

- Proven ability to develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration between various sources and OpenText Archive Server.

- Hands-on experience with OpenText Enterprise Scan configuration and management, including document capture and indexing.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.

- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, for data storage and processing.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- 7-9 years of relevant experience.
