Role Overview :

As a Palantir Data Software Engineer, you will serve as a technical bridge between raw data and strategic business outcomes. You will spend your day architecting, deploying, and optimizing data pipelines within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem to ensure seamless data integration and high-fidelity modeling. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and client stakeholders, you will translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines within Palantir Foundry to streamline data ingestion, transformation, and quality assurance for enterprise clients.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data models and ontology structures that align with specific business objectives and operational workflows.

- Optimize Spark-based processing jobs to improve performance and reduce latency in large-scale data environments.

- Integrate diverse data sources across AWS and Azure cloud environments to create a unified data fabric.

- Mentor junior engineering team members by conducting code reviews and establishing best practices.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining complex data pipelines using Palantir Foundry and Apache Spark within distributed cloud environments.

- Proficiency in Python for developing scalable data processing scripts and automating infrastructure tasks.

- Hands-on experience managing data architecture and cloud services on AWS and Azure, including the deployment of Azure Databricks.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate technical data strategies to non-technical stakeholders.

- 5 - 12 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering or software development roles.
