Palantir Developer - ETL/Python

About the Role :

We are looking for a talented and hands-on Palantir Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will focus on developing, implementing, and supporting data solutions on the Palantir platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable data pipelines, develop applications, and deliver actionable insights from complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Data Pipeline Development :

i. Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Python to ingest, transform, and integrate data from multiple sources.

ii. Build and configure applications and dashboards using Palantir tools such as Workshop, Quiver, and Slate.

- Application Development :

i. Build and configure applications and dashboards using Palantir tools such as Workshop, Quiver, and Slate.

- Platform Implementation :

i. Work on Palantir Foundry/Gotham implementations including data integration, ontology modeling, and pipeline configuration.

- Requirement Translation :

i. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Testing & Optimization :

i. Debug issues, monitor performance, and optimize pipelines and applications for efficiency and reliability.

- Collaboration :

i. Participate actively in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.

- Documentation :

i. Maintain clear technical documentation for data flows, pipelines, and applications.

Required Qualifications :

- Experience : 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Palantir Developer or Data Engineer on Palantir platform.

- Platform Expertise : Practical experience with Palantir Foundry or Gotham, including pipeline development and ontology concepts.

- Programming Skills : Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and TypeScript.

- Data Fundamentals : Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

- Problem Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently.

- Communication : Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to Palantir application development tools (Workshop, Slate, Quiver).

- Experience working in agile development environments.

- Basic understanding of data governance and security concepts.

- Relevant Palantir certifications are a plus.
