Role & responsibilities :

Architecture & Solution Design :

- Envision and design end to end solutions for defined functional and non functional requirements, leveraging Java or Python based architectures, cloud native patterns, and modern frameworks.

- Define technology stack, architectural patterns, frameworks, and AI integration approaches (LLMs, RAG pipelines, agentic components) to materialize solutions.

- Understand and reconcile multiple system views (business, application, data, infrastructure, security).

- Design and develop system frameworks, clearly articulating architectural decisions and trade offs.

- Author, review, and govern architecture and design documents, covering system architecture, frameworks, and high level designs.

- Review architecture and designs for scalability, extensibility, performance, security, and resilience, including AI components where applicable.

AI / Intelligent Systems Exposure :

- Provide architectural guidance on AI enabled capabilities, including :

1. Integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications

2. Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns

3. Agentic workflows for orchestration, automation, or decision support

- Collaborate with data science and platform teams to ensure responsible, secure, and scalable AI adoption.

Estimation & Planning :

- Create, validate, and justify designs and effort estimates for modules and initiatives.

- Clearly define in scope, out of scope, dependencies, and assumptions during estimation.

- Ensure alignment between architecture, effort, delivery timelines, and release plans.

Delivery & Production Governance :

- Act as a gatekeeper for production, reviewing code, configuration, and infrastructure changes to ensure quality and stability.

- Ensure adherence to SSMO delivery processes, including Problem, Incident, and Change Management, SLA compliance, productivity, and operational KPIs.

- Participate in design reviews, test case reviews, and production readiness reviews for new releases.

- Coordinate with development teams to ensure smooth, defect free releases and enhanced functionality.

- Support and govern production applications, ensuring availability, reliability, and rapid issue resolution.

- Ensure availability during weekends/holidays as required by project needs.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership :

- Manage and be accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors.

- Participate in stakeholder discussions with business customers, IT partners, Service Managers, and Service Directors to understand and translate business needs.

- Act as a technical and people leader, mentoring team members and building domain and technical SMEs.

- Build strong, collaborative relationships with project stakeholders and business partners.

- Prepare and present weekly/monthly status reports and daily project level updates for US and India stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with organizational and project standards, processes, and governance.

Education & Experience :

- Bachelors degree from a recognized university.

- 12 to 16 years of overall IT experience.

- 12+ years of hands on experience in Java or Python and enterprise application development.

- 5+ years of experience in solutioning, architecture, and design, building high performance, scalable platforms.

- 5+ years of experience leading delivery and owning end to end outcomes.

Technical Skills :

- Java / J2EE or Python with strong backend expertise.

- Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, RESTful APIs, Microservices.

- CI/CD pipelines (preferred : GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

- Automated testing, integration testing, and test data coordination.

- Cloud platforms : AWS / Azure.

- Build tools : Maven / Gradle.

- Web Services, REST architecture, API design.

- Containerization & orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes.

- Exposure to AI technologies :

1. LLM integrations

2. RAG architectures

3. Agentic AI patterns

4. AI assisted development and intelligent automation

- Strong grounding in engineering best practices and Agile methodologies.
