Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, development, and customization of OpenWrt-based firmware for operator-specific deployments.
- Architect and implement high-performance networking stacks for carrier-grade devices.
- Develop scalable and modular embedded Linux systems for complex CPE environments.
- Implement and manage TR-181 / TR-098 data models and USP (TR-369) protocols.
- Optimize L2/L3 forwarding performance using hardware offloading and VLAN configurations.
- Design and implement Multi-WAN, failover strategies, and policy-based routing (PBR).
- Enhance multicast performance using IGMP/MLD snooping and proxy mechanisms.
- Perform deep debugging of system-level issues such as kernel panics, memory leaks, and race conditions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot network issues using tools like tcpdump and Wireshark.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and integration strategies.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on best practices and technical decision-making.
Required Skills Experience :
1. OpenWrt Embedded Systems :
- Strong expertise in OpenWrt build system customization and package management.
- Hands-on experience in building operator-grade firmware distributions.
2. Programming :
- Advanced proficiency in C/C++ with focus on performance and resource optimization.
3. Networking Protocols :
- Strong experience in IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack environments.
- Knowledge of : DHCPv4 / DHCPv6, SLAAC Prefix Delegation (PD), and IPv6 transition technologies (MAP-T, MAP-E, DS-Lite).
4. Networking Concepts :
- Deep understanding of : Linux Bridge, VLAN (802.1Q / QinQ), and routing and forwarding architectures.
5. Traffic Routing :
- Experience with : Multi-WAN configurations, failover mechanisms, and Policy-Based Routing (PBR).
