The Data Solutions Engineer II takes ownership of mid-sized customer data integration projects.

This role demands autonomy in designing and implementing ETL solutions, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of scalable and optimized data solutions for government clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end implementation of data integration workflows using Python, SQL, and ETL tools.

- Design efficient data pipelines that handle large volumes of structured and semi-structured data.

- Collaborate with product, engineering, and client success teams to translate business requirements into technical data models.

- Troubleshoot data quality and performance issues in migration and integration environments.

- Create automation scripts to streamline repetitive data migration tasks.

- Guide and support junior engineers in code reviews, debugging, and technical upskilling.

- Participate in the continuous improvement of data integration frameworks and methodologies.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration architecture and process flows.

Required Skills and Experience

- 5+ years in data engineering, ETL, or professional services implementation roles.

- Strong expertise in Python, SQL scripting, and data mapping.

- Hands-on experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.

- Proficiency in designing ETL workflows and working with SaaS APIs.

- Solid understanding of data governance, normalization, and data integrity principles.

- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Agile delivery frameworks
